Duke Blue Devils true freshman Cooper Flagg is a star on and off the court, and Friday, he signed an important exclusivity agreement.
Now, Fanatics and Topps have signed Flagg to an exclusive multi-year deal to produce trading cards, autographs, and game-worn apparel for the freshman phenom.
Fanatics, Topps Ink Cooper Flagg to Lucrative Rights Deal
Cooper Flagg is a superstar. At only 18 years old, he’s one of the favorites to be the No. 1 in the 2025 NBA Draft, but he’s also producing at a high level for the Duke Blue Devils. Now, he’s signed an exclusive deal with one of the biggest trading card companies in the world.
The 6’9″ freshman is averaging nearly 19 points and nine rebounds per game, scoring in double figures in seven-consecutive games for the Blue Devils.
Friday, he signed a multi-year deal with Fanatics and Topps, giving the apparel company and its card subsidiary. This will give Topps exclusive rights to Flagg’s name, and the card company will reportedly produce Flagg’s own flagship trading cards in 2025 Bowman University Chrome.
Flagg has previously featured on several Bowman NOW brand cards, one of which sold for nearly $4,000.
The company will also use Flagg’s signature and game-worn apparel in his exclusive line of cards.
Flagg was the consensus No. 1 overall recruit in the 2024 class, after he reclassified from the 2025 class to get to the college level earlier.
Originally from Maine, Flagg transferred to Montverde Academy in Florida. He was the first collegiate player to train with the U.S. Men’s Team in preparation for the Olympic games since 2013.
Flagg and the Blue Devils are in the top five and he’s playing his best basketball of late.
