Top 10 Prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft
10) Jalon Walker, LB/EDGE, Georgia
However you want to label Jalon Walker, his upside as a pass rusher is undeniable. The Georgia Bulldogs defender was used across the formation in Kirby Smart’s defense, but his best snaps came when rushing the passer.
With 60 tackles, 11 TFLs, and 6.5 sacks in 2024, Walker has displayed a developed and refined pass rush plan that can be further unlocked in the NFL. At 6’1” and 243 pounds, the Georgia versatile defender is undersized compared to pure edge rushers, but those buying into Walker are doing so with a vision for his ceiling.
His potential is sky high heading to the pros, where his intense motor, natural bend, sudden movement, and refined instincts will allow him to be an adaptable playmaker under a creative play-caller.
9) Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
Colston Loveland is an exceptional pass-catching tight end who will predominantly align in the slot. A refined route runner who can naturally create separation with crafty movement and innate awareness, the Michigan Wolverine playmaker offers incredible athleticism and instant acceleration.
With 117 catches for 1,466 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns in his three-year career, Loveland has been the focal point of offense in Ann Arbor. At 6’5” and 245 pounds, he has a stretching catch radius and manipulative ball tracking.
The former four-star recruit can stem blocks and fluidly negotiate his way through traffic over the middle of the field to be a quarterback’s best friend at the next level.
8) Malaki Starks, SAF, Georgia
Malaki Starks is a rare prospect. Safeties don’t often go high in the NFL Draft, but the Georgia product is different. He is scheme and positionally versatile and does everything to an extremely high standard. The Bulldogs’ defensive back possesses violent physicality, instant bust, and incredible ball skills.
At 6’1” and 205 pounds, Starks has twisting body control to thrive at the catch point. His combination of awareness, vision, and anticipation is special and provides elite instincts to make plays from deep.
7) Will Campbell, OL, LSU
The debate over Will Campbell’s arm length will rage on long into his rookie season. However, whether you see him as an offensive tackle or an interior prospect at the next level makes no difference to his draft ranking.
The LSU Tiger is widely viewed as the top offensive lineman in the 2025 NFL Draft and will be drafted highly, providing the versatility for NFL teams to get their five best offensive linemen on the field.
Campbell’s arms measured in under 33 inches at the NFL Combine, and his lack of length shows up on tape, where he lacks lower body flexibility. However, the LSU left tackle negates his short wingspan with active footwork and refined technique.
A natural leader with high-level awareness and football IQ, Campbell has a commanding anchor, fluid footwork, and a strong upper half to win the leverage battle consistently at the next level.
6) Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
Will Johnson’s 2023 tape is nothing short of exceptional. While his play tailed off in 2024 on a Michigan team that took a step back in 2024, his combination of traits should still grade him out as one of the top prospects in the 2025 class.

At 6’2” and 194 pounds, the Wolverines’ perimeter corner is a fluid athlete with fluid body control and instinctive movements. His patient vision and visual awareness allow him to recognize and diagnose concepts, while his football IQ and pressing physicality allow Johnson to stick with receivers downfield.
5) Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State
Tyler Warren is better described as an offensive playmaker. The tight end can line up in-line, from the slot, can work out of the backfield, and can also pass the ball and work under wildcat. The Penn State weapon is a dynamic chess piece that can move around the field, creating mismatches.
At 6’5” and 256 pounds, Warren is an elite playmaker who has instinctual route running, exceptional athleticism, and bruising power. His senior year proved to be the tight end’s most productive in his five-year college career, catching 104 passes for 1,233 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.
4) Mason Graham, DT, Michigan
Mason Graham is a penetrative game-wrecker. The Michigan interior defensive lineman overpowers, working through the middle with explosive athleticism, heavy hands, and jarring power.
At 6’3” and 296 pounds, Graham measured in light at the 2025 NFL Combine, but it is expected he played closer to 315 in 2024, and there are no concerns over his play strength. The Wolverines’ defensive tackle is a refined pass rusher, where his refined plan, burst, and anticipation, along with his hand usage, allow him to instantly generate leverage to get into the backfield and terrorize offensive lines.
3) Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
No superlative is enough to describe how elite Ashton Jeanty was in 2024. His 2,601 rushing yards were only 27 shy of Barry Sanders’s all-time rushing record and saw the Boise State Broncos running back finish second in the Heisman Trophy race.
Averaging 186 yards per game in 2024, Jeanty consistently showcased elite vision and contact balance. In fact, he forced 170 missed tackles and had 1,970 yards after contact.
His patience, burst, and thunderous leg drive allow him to evade tackles and be elusive in space. Meanwhile, his explosive movement and pace-setting tone mean he can instantly be a feature back at the NFL level.
2) Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State
At this point in the process, the top two prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft are clear-cut and can be ranked either way. Abdul Carter lands at No. 2 and is the top edge rusher in our rankings. The Nittany Lions’ pass rusher is an elite athlete with impressive physical gifts.
Explosive mobility, aggressive leg drive, deep bag of pass rush moves, bend, and flexibility underpin Carter’s ability to be a skillful edge rusher who is still perfecting his craft. His elite traits overwhelm offensive linemen, leading him to be ultra-productive.
Transitioning to play edge full-time in 2024, Carter put up 12 sacks and 24 TFLs, and his trajectory is only curving upward.
1) Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado
Travis Hunter is one of one. He is special. He is unique. He is elite. The two-way Colorado Buffaloes star could play either side of the ball at the next level and is elite in both wide receiver and cornerback categories.
His athleticism, instincts, and ball skills are some of the best evaluated in recent seasons, and the former five-star recruit’s 2025 NFL Draft grade gets a bump because of that potential versatility.
MORE: Compensatory Picks in the 2025 NFL Draft
The 6’1”, 185-pound playmaker played 1,443 total snaps in 2024 and registered 53 tackles, three TFLs, six interceptions, and 19 passes deflected as a corner. Meanwhile, he also recorded 96 receptions for 1,258 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns as a wide receiver.
That elite production displays why Hunter is our top-ranked wide receiver and cornerback in the 2025 NFL Draft. His rare ball-hawking inclinations, including elite anticipation and awareness, allow him to take the ball away on any down. Furthermore, Hunter has some of the cleanest hands in recent memory as a wide receiver.
