Texas Longhorns stud receivers Isaiah Bond and Matthew Bolden have declared for the 2025 NFL Draft, depleting the receiver room for next season. With Arch Manning taking over, some of the younger talent on this Texas roster must step up.
Here are the Longhorns you can look for next season on the 2025 Texas WR depth chart.
What Does the Texas WR Room Look Like Ahead of the 2025 College Football Season?
Ryan Wingo
Ryan Wingo was the third receiver for the Longhorns this year as a true freshman. With Bond dealing with nagging injuries, he saw a lot of playing time and shined every time he got the ball. The 6’2″, 210-pound receiver is a dynamic playmaker with the ball in his hands and fits in well in head coach Steve Sarkisian’s offense.

Wingo finished the 2024 season with 29 catches for 472 yards and two touchdowns. He should be Arch’s number-one option in 2025 and sit atop the Texas WR depth chart.
DeAndre Moore Jr.
DeAndre Moore also saw the field quite a bit in 2024 as a reliable target for Texas. Moore is an elite athlete and polished route runner who should be able to create separation for Manning next season.
Moore finished the 2024 season with 39 catches for 456 yards and seven touchdowns. Look for him to make a big impact on Texas’ offense next season.
Kaliq Lockett
Kaliq Lockett is the #16-ranked recruit in the 2025 class and comes to Austin as a true freshman next season. As a five-star recruit expect him to make immediate contributions to the Longhorns offense and be a game-changing threat for Arch Manning.
The young receiver already has a boatload of talent. He has an elite ability to release off the line of scrimmage and create separation through his speed and change of direction.
With strong hands and an impressive ability to get yards after the catch, he’s the full package at receiver.
Lockett finished his high school career with 150 catches for 2,698 yards and 29 touchdowns. Look for him to continue his success to the college level next season.
Ryan Niblett
Ryan Niblett was a red-shirt freshman last season who saw limited playing time. While he didn’t see the field much the talent is there. In the 2023 class, he was ranked as a four-star recruit and top 100 player.
He’s logged three catches for 24 yards in his career at Texas but should be a rotational option for the Longhorns next season.
Jamie Ffrench
Another 2025 commit, Jamie Ffrench will be on campus for the first time next fall. The former four-star recruit was named the eighth-best wide receiver in his recruiting class and has all the tools necessary to make an immediate impact for the Longhorns.
