NFL Fanbase Makes Bold Appeal To Pick Deion Sanders’ Son Shedeur Sanders Ahead of the Draft

One Tennessee Titans fan had a funny and appealing way for the franchise to select Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders with the No. 1 overall pick.

In case you missed it, the Tennessee Titans had a rough season, finishing with an unflattering 3-14 record. On the bright side, they’ve been granted the No. 1 overall pick for the 2025 NFL Draft, giving them the opportunity to select a player that will give their lineup the boost it desperately needs.

It’s no secret that the Titans are in dire need of a reliable player to fill the quarterback position, which is the biggest hole in their lineup. And already, their fans are casting votes for the player they believe can get this done, and it’s none other than Colorado Buffaloes’ quarterback Shedeur Sanders.

Tennessee Fan Makes Case for Shedeur Sanders With Hilarious Gesture

Tennessee fans are hilarious, even in the most serious situations. As fans watched their team fall at the hands of the Houston Texans in Week 18 of the NFL season, some who were present at Nissan Stadium for the game donned brown paper bags over their heads in protest of their team’s performance.

One fan had a picture of Sanders on his paper bag, suggesting that the Colorado QB would be the solution to the Titans’ problems.

This quickly spread through college football media, and Sanders responded to the clip, calling the fan’s action “Legendary,” which led fans to start seriously considering the possibility of him joining Tennessee.

The Titans’ offense has consistently fallen short, and their quarterbacks have failed to make a case for that position. Reports suggest the Titans are preparing to replace Will Levis as their franchise QB, with Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer stating that the Titans “know that they can’t go forward with Will Levis as their franchise quarterback.”

“That doesn’t mean he can’t stay on the roster, or compete for playing time,” Breer added. “It does mean the search for a long-term answer at the position is on, and it begins with the team having the first pick.”

Is Sanders the Solution to Tennessee’s QB Problem?

After cycling through starting QBs this season, the Titans are ready for a more stable solution to their offensive problems. As a result of being at the bottom of the NFL standings, Tennessee will have the first pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Sanders is one of the top quarterback prospects in college football and has left a mark at both Jackson State and Colorado. While there is no guarantee that he’ll be the solution Tennessee needs, there is little reason to doubt that he can get the job done.

Sanders has displayed an ability to consistently make plays under pressure and has put up some of his best performances in critical moments. He’s proven himself to be a great and charismatic leader who can lift his teammates’ spirits during low moments.

To add icing on the cake, Tennessee fans have clearly bought the hype. But at the end of the day, the decision is up to the Titans. There are other exciting prospects, such as Miami Hurricanes QB Cam Ward and Sanders’ teammate, WR/CB Travis Hunter.
