The Michigan Wolverines upset the Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturday, eliminating the Buckeyes from the Big Ten Championship Game picture. As head coach Sherrone Moore and defensive tackle Mason Graham were being interviewed by the broadcast, a massive brawl erupted on the field between the two bitter rivals.

What started with an attempt to plant their flag at the center of Ohio Stadium ended with security, police officers, and members of each coaching staff separating the players at midfield.

The players were broken up with what appeared to be pepper spray during the brawl, as the sides simply couldn’t be separated any other way.
As expected, the college football world had plenty to say.
Former Players, Analysts, and Fans Have Scathing Reaction to Michigan-Ohio State Brawl
Confirming the pepper spraying, longtime CFB journalist Pat Forde said even he felt the effects.

Fans also made reference that the pepper spraying may have been a bit much for the players to have received.

Michigan RB Kalel Mullings shared the sentiment most players seemingly felt after the brawl.
Mullings, who made multiple game-altering plays, still put the spin on Ohio State players, perhaps pushing the narrative that OSU was at fault for the fighting.

The continued videos did no help for Ohio State fans as it was clear OSU players were the first to rip at Michigan players and the UM flag.

It remains to be seen whether or not these teams will face discipline. The Big Ten offices will be responsible for that.
