While the teams in college football realignment typically grab the spotlight, the reorganization of television coverage has been fascinating to watch unfold.
As most networks prioritize primetime slots, FOX has taken a different approach by attempting to monopolize Saturday’s early window. Part of that is the focus on “Big Noon Kickoff” as a pregame show ahead of the network’s top matchup at Noon ET.
Who are the hosts of “Big Noon Kickoff,” and what do you need to know about FOX’s pregame show?
Brady Quinn, Urban Meyer Headline Hosts of ‘Big Noon Kickoff’ On FOX
ESPN has historically dominated the late window on college football Saturdays, while CBS has traditionally owned the afternoon slot. Rather than fighting this, FOX pivoted to the Noon ET window, perhaps stumbling into a secondary benefit: increased pregame viewership.
FOX quickly capitalized on this development, beefing up its lineup of hosts, which includes Brady Quinn and Urban Meyer.

Joining Quinn and Meyer are former Heisman trophy winners Matt Leinart and Mark Ingram, and longtime FOX commentator and host, Rob Stone.
Meyer is considered one of the best college football coaches of all time. He has the highest career winning percentage of any coach to coach at multiple Power Conference schools. He had a career head coaching record of 187-32 and won National Championships at both Florida and Ohio State.
Quinn is a former Notre Dame quarterback who played for the Cleveland Browns, Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos, New York Jets, and St. Louis Rams in his seven-plus-year NFL career.
Leinart and Ingram both won Heisman trophies in college, the former as a quarterback at USC and the latter as an Alabama running back.
Stone gained fame as an ESPN play-by-play announcer in the 1990s and early 2000s, serving as the primary voice for PBA Bowling in the late 2000s before moving to FOX Sports in 2012.
The “Big Noon Kickoff” crew is almost always at the site of the Big Noon Saturday game, called by FOX’s Joel Klatt and Gus Johnson.
