How To Watch ‘Untold: Sign Stealer’ — Date, Time, and Everything Else To Know About Connor Stalions-Michigan Documentary

With Netflix releasing "Untold: Sign Stealer" later this month, here's everything to know about the show, including how to watch, the premiere date, and more.

Unfortunately for Michigan, the Wolverines’ sign-stealing controversy from last season isn’t over yet. The NCAA is in the middle of an investigation into the alleged scheme, and current head coach Sherrone Moore could face punishment.

Meanwhile, Netflix will release its documentary “Untold: Sign Stealer” later this month, where former Michigan staffer Connor Stalions will tell his side of the story for the first time.

What Is ‘Untold: Sign Stealer’ and Who Is Featured?

Sign-stealing is not specifically prohibited, but according to NCAA Bylaw 11.6, off-campus, in-person scouting of future opponents is illegal. The program was accused of purchasing tickets to scout future opponents and sending staffers to those games to digitally record teams signaling their plays.

Following an 8-0 start and increased media scrutiny, Stalions resigned from the Wolverines in November. However, that was only the tip of the iceberg. The Big Ten suspended then-head coach Jim Harbaugh for the final three games of the regular season, Michigan fired a top booster, and the NCAA opened an ongoing investigation into the matter.

Harbaugh, who left the school to become the Los Angeles Chargers head coach, has denied knowing about any improper scouting while at Michigan.

On Sunday, Aug. 4, The Associated Press reported that offensive coordinator turned head coach Moore has been accused of deleting text-message exchanges with Stalions around the time the investigation began.

Moore stepped in as acting head coach four times last season, winning every game, including the season finale against rival Ohio State.
