EA Sports College Football 25 has been available to play since Monday, and there’s a brand new game mode called “Road to the College Football Playoff.” It allows you to pick your favorite team and compete against others online to see if you can qualify for the College Football Playoff.
Let’s talk about the best teams to use that will help you win more games.
College Football 25’s Best Teams To Win More Games
Georgia Bulldogs
The No. 1-ranked team in the game — and for good reason — the Bulldogs have talent and speed all over their roster, led by safety Malaki Starks and linebacker Mykel Williams.
Carson Beck leads the charge at quarterback with a 93 overall and has three receivers with over 94 speed. Georgia is easily the most balanced team in the game.

Michigan Wolverines
The defending national champs are a force to be reckoned with in College Football 25.
Cornerback Will Johnson and defensive tackle Mason Graham are the two highest-rated players at their position in the entire game.
On offense, quarterback Alex Orji doesn’t have the best rating, but he does have 91 speed for those who enjoy a scrambling quarterback.
Cover athlete Donovan Edwards boasts a 91 overall in the Wolverines backfield.
Key Players
CB Will Johnson – 96 OVR
DT Mason Graham – 95 OVR
TE Colston Loveland – 92 OVR

Alabama Crimson Tide
Jalen Milroe might be the best player in the entire game with his 90 overall, 91 speed, and 96 throw power. He is absolutely electric and resembles old-school Michael Vick from older versions of Madden.
No surprise that the defense for Bama is loaded, led by superstar safety Malachi Moore and middle linebacker Deontae Lawson.

Colorado Buffaloes
If you are a fan of offense and not so much defense, Colorado could be the team for you.
The Buffs’ defense is a little tough to navigate because they don’t have defenders over 90 overall. Shilo Sanders leads the defensive ratings at 86 overall.
The offense, however, is a completely different story and is absolutely loaded. Cover star Travis Hunter leads the offense at 95 overall as the highest-rated receiver in the game. Quarterback Shedeur Sanders boasts a 93 overall.

WR Travis Hunter – 95 OVR
QB Shedeur Sanders – 93 OVR

Texas Longhorns
Another well-balanced team in College Football 25, the Longhorns are led by cover star Quinn Ewers, who comes equipped with a 92 overall. He has 95 medium accuracy and 90 deep accuracy, so if you enjoy tossing the pigskin around, he could be your guy.
There’s tons of speed at the receiver position as well, with Isaiah Bond coming in with a blistering 98 speed rating.
