Jeff Traylor’s Salary, Contract, Net Worth, and More

Jeff Traylor has taken the UTSA Roadrunners to new heights under his leadership, but what is his salary, contract, and net worth in 2024?

Jeff Traylor has become one of the highest-regarded coaches in college football and has turned UTSA into an established program.

After several winning seasons, the Roadrunners head coach has earned a contract extension, but how much is Traylor’s salary and net worth in 2024?

Jeff Traylor’s Salary and Contract in 2024

Traylor signed a mega 10-year contract extension in 2021 worth $28 million with UTSA, which pays him an average annual salary of $2.8 million in 2024.

There are also additional bonuses available to Traylor annually. However, these have not been made public. UTSA also approved an increase to the staff salary pool when the extension was agreed.

The salary is a substantial increase from the $830,000 Traylor earned with the Roadrunners in 2021.

Traylor has revitalized the UTSA program, leading the Roadrunners to four consecutive winning seasons. His accomplishments include two Conference USA titles in 2021 and 2022 before the program transitioned to the AAC in 2023.

Overall, Traylor holds a record of 39-14 in San Antonio and won his first bowl game in 2023 when the Roadrunners defeated Marshall 35-17 in the Frisco Bowl.

Locking their head coach down was a monumental move for the leadership at UTSA as Traylor gathers attention and gets linked to college football powerhouse programs.

“He is an outstanding leader, a culture builder, and a molder of young men. He has brought unprecedented national exposure and acclaim to both our institution and the San Antonio community,” said Lisa Campos, UTSA’s Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics.

“He’s taken UTSA Football to new heights in a short amount of time, and this contract extension shows our commitment to him and his staff to continue to build and sustain this program for years to come.”

Traylor joined UTSA in 2020, becoming only the third head coach in Roadrunner history. Prior to moving to San Antonio, he was an assistant head coach at Arkansas in 2018 and 2019.

    Traylor’s Net Worth

Traylor’s net worth is not reported. However, taking into account fast and future earnings, the Roadrunners’ head coach will have earned $35.9 million at the end of his current contract.

USA Today’s Salary Tracker estimates that, to date, Traylor has earned $7.9 million in annual salaries since he started coaching college football in 2015.
