The Cleveland Browns quarterback, Dillon Gabriel, has been receiving a lot of flak from fans ever since he was named the backup quarterback behind Joe Flacco, which meant that Shedeur Sanders was named the third quarterback.
Most fans want to see Sanders take the centre stage and get some playing time; however, according to Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski, even though the former Colorado star is named the QB2, he is not getting any reps with the first team, further sparking backlash from Sanders’ fans.
During a recent press conference, Gabriel said he hopes his receivers can assist him in getting a few ‘explosive’ plays, and that he would like to see a “5-yard throw go for 20,” drawing criticism from fans.

“Shedeur would never say no bullsh*t like that. Keep talking Gabriel everything happening right on schedule,” one fan commented.
“Mf literally has the most explosive young tight-end in the league out here turning his 2 yard throws to ten yard gains and he’s gonna complain,” another fan said.
“Throw deep. Make some completions. Force the defense to back-up and spread out. That opens up the run. Am I wrong? Stop with all of the short or sideline throws. We need to get the ball downfield. If 1st down is 10 yards, why keep throwing it 9 yards?” another fan commented.
“Shedeur Sanders needs to request a trade smh lol even if he starts it will be more of the same because the Browns fuckin suck and they found their HC on Indeed,” another fan took a shot at the franchise.
“Translation: I want my receivers to do all the work while I do the bare minimum on every throw,” another fan trolled the ex-Oregon star.
“Explosive plays call for an Explosive arm, which you don’t have buddy. Shedeur should be the starter,” another fan expressed frustration.
Mary Kay Cabot Predicts A Condition In Which Dillon Gabriel Can Pass on Playing Time to Shedeur Sanders
In the latest round of ‘Hey Mary Kay,’ a fan asked the Browns insider if she thinks the receivers would trust Gabriel, knowing that he is throwing hospital balls, which are 80% of his passes.
Mary Kay Cabot replied by mentioning that Gabriel was off on a variety of his throws during the Steelers matchup, where the Browns lost 23-9.
The Browns insider affirmed that she believes Gabriel will start throwing more accurate passes. However, she added that if the ex-Oregon star doesn’t learn to cut through the bolster and tough weather conditions, he might hand over the playing time to Shedeur.
