Terry Rozier has built a solid NBA career through a mix of scoring flair and relentless competitiveness. The 6-foot-1 guard entered the league in 2015 and made his mark with his ability to create offensive pressure.
Nearly a decade later, he’s one of the league’s more established veteran guards, now suiting up for the Miami Heat. Rozier was drafted 16th overall by the Boston Celtics in the 2015 NBA Draft. He spent four seasons in Boston before joining the Charlotte Hornets.
In 2024, Rozier was traded to the Miami Heat, adding more experience and depth to their backcourt rotation. As of 2025, Terry Rozier’s net worth is estimated to be around $10 million, according to multiple reports.
As per Spotrac, his overall career earnings in a 10-year career exceed $160 million, fueled by lucrative contracts signed over the years. Rozier’s current deal, a four-year, $96.3 million contract, runs through the 2025–26 season.
He earned around $24.9 million in 2024–25 and $26.6 million in 2025–26, making him one of Miami’s highest-paid players. When it comes to endorsements, Rozier hasn’t built the same off-court portfolio as some of the NBA’s top-tier stars.
He previously had a deal with Adidas early in his career, but the partnership ended in 2017. The reason behind the termination of that deal was that Rozier was seen wearing Nikes, a rival brand, during shootaround.
Even though he wore Adidas during the game, the company didn’t appreciate one of their athletes wearing a rival brand. Since then, he’s occasionally been spotted wearing various sneaker brands, but no new major sponsorships have been publicly confirmed.
Most of Rozier’s wealth has therefore come directly from his NBA contracts rather than outside brand income.
Terry Rozier Was Recently Arrested
Rozier’s career took an unexpected turn after being linked to a federal sports-betting investigation. The controversy stems from a March 23, 2023, game during his time with the Charlotte Hornets. Betting monitors flagged unusual wagering activity on Rozier’s player props.
The NBA’s internal review at the time found no violation of league rules, but the matter later drew attention from federal authorities. On October 23, 2025, Rozier was arrested by the FBI as part of a broader probe into illegal sports-betting and poker operations.
Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier was arrested early Thursday morning as part of an FBI sports betting gambling probe, sources tell ESPN. The Eastern District of New York and FBI director Kash Patel will hold a press conference at 10 am ET to announce arrests from investigation.

Reports stated he was taken into custody at a hotel in Orlando shortly after Miami’s season opener. The arrest was one of several tied to a larger case involving multiple individuals and indictments.
