Chris Olave appeared on the injury report last week, being a limited participant at practice on Wednesday because of a hip injury. However, he returned to full participation on Thursday and was able to play on Sunday against the Chicago Bears. Unfortunately for the Saints, Olave appeared on the injury report again on Wednesday, this time with an ankle injury. He was a complete DNP for Wednesday’s practice.

According to a report from insider Nick Underhill, Olave suffered an ankle injury on Sunday against the Bears. While the team is being cautious with him at practice, he is expected to play on Sunday against the Bucs.

According to Fantasy Pros, Chris Olave is the No. 12-ranked wide receiver in fantasy football this season. He has had a strong season after missing half of last season because of injuries. The fourth-year pro has continued to improve his game and has been a bright spot in a disappointing year for the Saints.
However, an ankle injury is something that could impact Olave’s effectiveness as a wide receiver. It is an injury that could limit his ability to run his routes as effectively, and as a result, he might not get any targets. He is still probably worth starting, but fantasy owners should monitor his status at practice this week.
