Indiana Pacers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder Prediction
Last season, the Indiana Pacers and Oklahoma City Thunder met in the NBA Finals. The Thunder were a dominant team from the regular season, whereas the Pacers were going on a Cinderella run. The Pacers forced a game seven in dominant fashion. However, an injury to superstar Tyrese Haliburton early in game seven ended their championship hopes, and the Thunder went on to win.

This season could be a similar story. While both teams are expected to be good, the Thunder are expected to contend for a championship again, and that is not the case for the Pacers. Haliburton is still out, and as a result, more pressure will be on the rest of the lineup to make up for his absence. While the Thunder are also dealing with injuries, they are not as significant.
It is also worth noting that the Thunder have already played a game this season, unlike the Pacers. The Thunder won an overtime game against Houston on Tuesday, 125-124. We favor the Thunder to come out on top again on Thursday.
