Chicago Sky point guard Hailey Van Lith seems to be enjoying the offseason, with her latest Instagram publication showing her in what appears to be a beach trip. The former LSU Tiger and TCU Horned Frog went on her Instagram story this Tuesday night to share a photo of herself in a green two-piece swimsuit at an undisclosed location.
Van Lith is fresh off her first season in the WNBA, after being drafted 11th overall in this year’s draft. While, of course, a momentous moment for her career, she didn’t have the biggest of impacts when jumping into the pros. She played in 29 games, but started in none. She averaged 3.5 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game in 2025.
Van Lith carried over an ankle injury from her time at TCU, which likely impacted her availability with the Chicago Sky. She missed the last seven games of the Sky’s season with the recurring injury.
Hailey Van Lith Underwent Ankle Surgery At The End Of The Season
Following the Chicago Sky’s failure to make it to the WNBA Playoffs, and mainly due to her inability to remain healthy throughout the year, Hailey Van Lith decided to undergo surgery to repair the injury she carried over from college to the pros and which had been nagging at her throughout the year.

She announced the news through her Instagram story, where she added a picture in early October of her recovering from the intervention and added the following caption:
“Not my will but His. Time to get the ankle right!”
So, in a way, this beach escapade wasn’t just a bit of offseason fun but yet another step in Hailey Van Lith’s path to recovery.
