Seattle Seahawks vs Houston Texans Inactives: Who’s In and Who’s Out For MNF

Two elite NFL franchises that have had somewhat decent outings in the current campaign are set to clash in Week 7 of the 2025 NFL season. Coach Mike Macdonald’s Seattle Seahawks will face coach DeMeco Ryans’ Houston Texans on Monday, Oct. 20, on the former’s home pitch, Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington. Both squads are looking to notch back-to-back regular-season wins.

With a sure-fire matchup set to ensue, let’s look at who will be inactive for both teams for the much-awaited Week 7 affair.

    Seattle Seahawks

    Quarterback Jalen Milroe

    Safety Julian Love

    Cornerback Devon Witherspoon

    Linebacker Jared Ivey

    Linebacker Derick Hall

    Tackle and guard Mason Richman

    Tight end Nick Kallerup

    Houston Texans

    Wide receiver Christian Kirk

    Quarterback Graham Mertz

    Running back Dameon Pierce

    Defensive end Darrell Taylor

    Tackle Jarrett Kingston

    Tackle Trent Brown

The Seahawks will not have a couple of their linebackers against the Texans in Ivey and Hall, as well as one of their emergency quarterbacks in Jalen Milroe. Still, there are no indications that Sam Darnold will not be suiting up for Seattle. Coach Macdonald’s team is heading into the matchup, aiming to improve its current overall record of 4-2.

The Texans will also be without one of their rostered quarterbacks in Graham Mertz, meaning starting quarterback CJ Stroud should stay healthy for the matchup. A couple of their tackles in Kingston and Brown are also expected to be sidelined. Houston is coming into the game with a 2-3 overall record as it looks to crack a .500 standing against the Seahawks.

The Seattle Seahawks And Houston Texans Coaching Staffs Unite For A Pre-Game Initiative

Before the Seattle Seahawks and the Houston Texans square off against each other on the former’s home pitch, a post by @Seahawks on X/Twitter showcases that the coaching staffs of both teams united for a cause.

The photos seen on social media showed Seahawks and Texans coaches running up and down the stairs to support the Coach Knapp Memorial Fund with the Knapp Stair Climb Challenge.

Both the Seahawks and the Texans are coming off big wins and will look to continue that momentum.
