Jayden Daniels’ Washington Commanders suffered their fourth loss of the season against the Dallas Cowboys. Daniels, with his 12 of 22 for 156 yards, couldn’t save his team from a 22-44 loss. Moments after the game, he linked up with Paige Bueckers.
Interestingly, Bueckers also represents Dallas in the WNBA, playing for the Dallas Wings. Daniels and Bueckers also wear the same numbered jersey. During their meeting, they exchanged their respective #5 jersey.
The fans, however, were more concerned about cracking jokes and putting Daniels on blast. Some fans stated that JuJu Watkins, Daniels’ girlfriend and USC guard, might not like seeing them together, while others made fun of him for being shy.

Daniels has been rumored to be dating Watkins for a while now. Although they have never publicly confirmed the rumors, fans believe that they are together based on their interactions and public appearances.
Bueckers, on the other hand, has been in a relationship with Azzi Fudd, her former teammate at UConn. After months of speculations and rumors floating around the internet, they confirmed their relationship in July.
It’s obvious that the fans were teasing Daniels over his interaction with Bueckers because it’s highly likely that he’ll come across the post.
Jayden Daniels is Going Through a Rough Phase
Daniels has dealt with multiple injuries this season, disrupting his rhythm for the Commanders. He first suffered a sprained left knee in late September, forcing him to miss time and wear a brace upon his return. In Week 7 against the Dallas Cowboys, he sustained a right hamstring injury.
The team confirmed he will undergo further evaluation to determine the extent of the damage. These back-to-back lower-body issues have raised concerns about his durability and mobility moving forward.
The recent struggles and injury setbacks have led to growing talk about a possible change at quarterback. There’s a demand for Daniels to be benched as he has been unable to provide the stability that the Commanders are desperately looking for.
While no benching has been announced, the chatter reflects the mounting pressure on Daniels to stay healthy and perform consistently once he returns.
