“Biggest Fantasy Bust Of All Time”: Fans Lash Out On Travis Hunter As Jacksonville WR/CB Fails To Log Stats in First Half Disasterclass vs Rams

Two-way star Travis Hunter and the Jacksonville Jaguars traveled to London this week for a game against the Los Angeles Rams. The former Heisman-winner has had an up-and-down start to his NFL career. While he has shown flashes of brilliance, he has not lived up to the expectations of being the second pick in the 2025 NFL draft.

On Sunday morning, Hunter continued to struggle. The Jaguars fell into a 21-0 deficit at halftime, and Hunter failed to log any stats in the first half. He had one carry for zero yards and was targeted three times, but did not make a single catch.

This led to a big reaction from fans on X.

Travis Hunter has got to be one of the biggest fantasy busts of all time. My god is it a letdown,” one fan wrote.

Travis Hunter needs touches,” one fan commented.

Why is Travis Hunter not playing defense!?” one fan added.

Fans continued to react on X.

Does everyone agree that Travis Hunter was one of the worst lottery picks ever, especially considering the cost?” one fan wrote.

The jags don’t believe in Travis Hunter,” one fan commented.

Trevor Lawrence hates Travis Hunter. Every. Freaking. Pass. Is nowhere near him,” one fan added.

Travis Hunter and the Jacksonville Jaguars Struggle in the First Half Against the LA Rams

While Travis Hunter was a focus of many Jaguars fans’ frustrations, he was not the only player who struggled in the first half. The team struggled as a whole. The defense was unable to stop the Rams, allowing them to score three TDs.

On the offensive side of the ball, it was not any better. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence completed 10 of 19 passes for 105 yards but was not able to lead his team into scoring range. The team did make one 50-yard field goal attempt, but it was missed by Cam Little. As a result, the team went into halftime down by 21 points.

If the Jaguras are unable to make a huge comeback, it will be the team’s third loss of the season, and second in a row. They are coming off a 20-12 loss to Seattle. While the Jaguars are having a strong season, if they string a few losses together, the season could still get away from them, and they could miss the playoffs.
