Victor Wembanyama Completing Shaquille O’Neal-Like Play Scares Fans: “Jesus Christ This Is Terrifying”

San Antonio Spurs superstar Victor Wembanyama seems to have been reaping the results of his unorthodox training throughout the 2025 NBA offseason. On Monday, Oct. 13, @sportscenter on Instagram posted a couple of clips from the Spurs’ recent preseason game against the Indiana Pacers in away territory, the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Wembanyama is first seen driving against Pacers center Isaiah Jackson. A single bump moved the Indiana stalwart, as the 7’4 sensation rose for a two-handed slam. This was seen by SportsCenter as reminiscent of NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal.

In another video, Wembanyama dunked on Jackson once again, before stealing the ball and setting guard Stephon Castle up for an alley-oop.

“WEMBY COMING DIFFERENT 😮‍💨,” @sportscenter on Instagram captioned with an emoji.
