Lions’ Terrion Arnold Brutally Trolls Chiefs’ Partrick Mahomes Ahead of AFC Showdown in Week 6

Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold trolled three-time Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes ahead of the showdown against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 6. Arnold came up with a WWE reference to scare the Chiefs QB.

Ahead of the showdown at Arrowhead Stadium, the Lions’ cornerback posted an image from a Boneyard WWE match between Undertaker and AJ Styles. Arnold did some editing to reference the NFL matchup. He photoshopped his image in place of Undertaker, who is giving a scary look from behind the hyped up Styles, whose image was replaced with Mahomes.

With this image, Arnold might be suggesting that he will make Mahomes pay if he throws a pass anywhere around him on the field.

However, the cornerback’s participation in the game is in question. He is listed among the Lions’ inactives for the game due to a shoulder injury, which has sidelined him for several weeks.

Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes Acknowledges The Challenge Facing Lions

The Lions are 4-1 to start the season. They have not lost a single game after losing their season opener. Meanwhile, the Chiefs found themselves on the wrong side of a close game after the Jaguars defeated them 31-28 last week.

“We have to be better, you know?” Mahomes said about their loss. “We’ve lost too many games already (3). We have to find a way to be better as a team and come together and play better throughout the rest of the season.

“We hurt ourselves with penalties. As we continue to clean that up, we’ll continue to put more and more points on the board.”

Looking ahead, Mahomes acknowledged the tough game they face against the high-powered Lions.

“We have another great challenge this week playing the Lions, which is another great football team, which scores a lot of points themselves, and plays with a lot of pride, so it’ll be super important for us to go in with the right mindset knowing it’ll be a great challenge,” Mahomes added.

This season, Patrick Mahomes has thrown eight touchdowns against two interceptions while completing 63.4% of passes. He’ll be tasked against the Lions, who are 12th in the NFL in terms of pass defense.
