Deion Sanders, during a recent appearance on a podcast with Derek and David Carr, revealed a hilarious exchange with Shedeur Sanders.
When Shedeur extended an invitation for his father to attend a Cleveland Browns game, Deion responded with a hysterical comment.
“Shedeur, I can’t wait to go see him play, you know, can’t wait…and he’s like, when you’re coming to a game? I said when you play”, stated Sanders (0:00).
“I’m not gonna come to see you sit. When you play, I am coming”, he further elaborated (0:12).

In the meantime, Shedeur was recently given a promotion with the Browns, being elevated from the practice squad to a backup role behind rookie starter Dillon Gabriel.
This came on the heels of the trade of veteran quarterback Joe Flacco to the Bengals, creating an opening for Shedeur to create a name for himself as a viable NFL option. Browns offensive coaches have praised Shedeur’s work ethic and desire to take practice reps, demonstrating their commitment to his growth for the program.

Colorado Shocks No. 22 Iowa State in Emotional Victory
Coach Prime had recently undergone surgery to take care of a recurring blood clot problem, which is a very serious health obstacle that he has been dealing with for years. Other health issues have been bladder cancer and numerous surgeries, which also included a partial foot amputation back in 2022.
While Colorado suffered a tough loss to TCU, Deion was in clear pain as he had a lot of physical challenges during a difficult full game.
But it felt like all of his commitments paid off big time when Colorado shocked No. 22 Iowa State 24-17, giving Colorado its first win against a ranked team under Deion since his first was against TCU two years prior. The win also allowed the Colorado fans to celebrate, as they were seen rushing the field after the victory.
Deion has not shied away from discussing his health issues and is clear that they are hereditary issues and not lifestyle-related. Many have questioned him about whether his health situation could dictate his coaching, and Deion has always shut down the speculations.
