Steve Sarkisian’s wife, Loreal Sarkisian, selected an astonishing outfit for today’s game between the Texas Longhorns and the Oklahoma Sooners. The wife of the Longhorns’ head coach posted to her Instagram story a video and a series of photos of herself wearing a denim outfit, with a pair of Texas’ brown trousers.
The game is an incredibly important one for the Austin school, which lost its last game against Florida (29-21). The loss, which happened to be the Longhorns’ SEC opener, cost the team its ranked status, with them coming into Week 7 as an unranked program for the first time this season.

Loreal Sarkisian might prove to be the team’s good luck charm at this week’s game in the Red River Rivalry. Loreal was absent from the two defeats of the Texas Longhorns this season, having missed the 14-7 game against the Ohio State Buckeyes in Week 1 at Columbus and the game against the Florida Gators in Week 5 at Gainesville.

Loreal Sarkisian’s status as the good luck charm of her husband’s team seems to be in good standing. Halfway through the fourth quarter, the Texas Longhorns are leading the Oklahoma Sooners 13-6 in the Red River Rivalry.
While the game by Arch Manning has again been uninspiring, with 166 passing yards and one touchdown pass, he has proven to be a much safer pair of hands than his direct opponent, Oklahoma’s John Mateer.
It seems that Mateer was rushed back to the starting lineup 20 days after a hand surgery due to a thumb injury, and doesn’t seem ready to be back on the field. He has thrown for 140 passing yards, with no touchdowns and three interceptions. He has a 46.1% completion percentage. Manning, in turn, has a much better completion percentage of 77.7%.
Running back Quintrevion Wisner has also had significant contributions, with 88 yards in 18 carries.
