Alabama vs. Missouri: Key Players to Watch

For the Alabama Crimson Tide, the key to the matchup is the play of their quarterback, Ty Simpson. Following the departure of Jalen Milroe last season, the QB position on the Crimson Tide was filled with question marks. However, Simpson emerged as the starter and at the midway point of the season, is one of the top Heisman Trophy contenders. In five games, he has completed 111 of 158 passing attempts for 1478 yards and 13 TDs, while only throwing one interception.

For the Missouri Tigers, while they have gotten strong play from their quarterback, Beau Pribula, the rushing game has been key to their success. Running back Ahmad Hardy has been one of the best rushers in college this season. He has 730 yards and nine TDs on 103 carries. His 730 yards make him the No. 2-ranked rusher this season. His continued dominance is key to the success of the Tigers in this matchup.

    Alabama vs. Missouri Predictions

Looking ahead to this matchup, we believe the Alabama Crimson Tide will come out on top. While they dropped their first game of the season to No. 25-ranked Florida State, they have bounced back in a big way. They are coming off two wins over ranked opponents, No. 10-ranked Georgia and No. 20-ranked Vanderbilt.

Conversely, while Missouri has been good to start the year, they have not been tested against a ranked opponent. As a result, we believe the experience of Alabama will help them in what should be a close game on Saturday.

The game is scheduled to begin at Noon ET on Saturday. Missouri is hosting the game at Faurot Field.
