Former Miami Hurricanes guard Haley Cavinder continues to support her fiancé, Jake Ferguson, who is in his fourth season in the NFL. On Sunday, Oct. 12, Dallas Cowboys tight end Ferguson and the rest of coach Brian Schottenheimer’s squad faced coach Dave Canales’ Carolina Panthers for their Week 6 matchup of the 2025 NFL season in away territory, the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Cavinder took to her Instagram stories to repost an upload by the Cowboys’ social media team on the franchise’s page, showing a sequence wherein Ferguson scored for his team. In the clip, Ferguson received a pass from starting quarterback Dak Prescott for a touchdown that gave the Cowboys a 16-10 edge at the 3:39 mark of the second quarter. Cavinder posted about this with a hyped-up message that read:
“Go bby.”
Unfortunately for Cavinder and the rest of the Cowboys faithful, Ferguson and company could not finish the job as the Panthers banked on a 10-3 run in the fourth quarter to steal the victory from Dallas. The Cowboys were already ahead by four, 21-17, heading into the layover period, but the charge of Carolina running back and former Cowboys standout Rico Dowdle proved too much for his former Dallas teammates.
Still, Cavinder is consistent with her support for Ferguson in uncorking a successful fourth year in the NFL. The 24-year-old finished her five-year college basketball tenure in the 2024-25 season with coach Tricia Cullop’s Miami Hurricanes. As the starting point guard for the team, alongside her twin sister in Hanna, the Hurricanes finished with an overall record of 14-15 (4-14 ACC).
For Ferguson and the rest of the Cowboys, they will aim to get back into the win column when they take on coach Dan Quinn’s Washington Commanders on Sunday, Oct. 19, at their home stadium, AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Dallas‘ current record early in the campaign is 2-3-1.

Haley Cavinder Makes Her Family’s English Bulldog Wear A Dallas Cowboys Cap
Along with reposting Jake Ferguson’s score for the Dallas Cowboys against the Carolina Panthers on her Instagram story, Haley Cavinder also uploaded a photo of her family’s English bulldog, who supported the Cowboys in his own way.
In the snap, the Cavinder family’s English bulldog is seen wearing a mini Dallas cap and has its tongue out for the picture. In previous uploads, Haley Cavinder shared that her family owns pet dogs.
