South Carolina is a basketball powerhouse, whether it is women’s basketball or men’s. Dawn Staley’s leadership has instilled a winning mentality in the Gamecocks. For the men’s team, head coach Lamont Paris has led some of the great talents in college basketball. There are some of the sharpest basketball minds at South Carolina’s disposal.
Thanks to the guidance of great coaches for both the women’s and men’s teams, South Carolina has nurtured some exceptional talents over the years. Players like A’ja Wilson, Kamilla Cardoso, Allisha Gray, and more have made their names in and after college. One of the brightest talents from the men’s team is Collin Murray-Boyles.
While his girlfriend Chloe Kitts will play her senior year with South Carolina, Murray-Boyles is getting ready for his rookie season in the NBA. Collin recently shared snaps in the Toronto Raptors jersey on his Instagram account. There were teammates and coaches in the comments section congratulating the former South Carolina player. One of them was Dawn Staley’s assistant coach, Khadijah Sessions.

Raptors star and recent NCAA champion Alijah Martin also hyped up his new teammate with a couple of emojis. Heat’s Kasparas Jakučionis, AJ Lawson, and Ja’Kobe Walter were a few other names that also supported Collin.
Chloe Kitts and Collin Murray-Boyles, South Carolina’s Power Couple
Chloe Kitts has been a key player for Dawn Staley’s South Carolina Gamecocks. She played a vital role in their undefeated 2023-2024 championship season. Kitts has also won gold medals with the 2023 FIBA U19 World Cup Team and the 2022 FIBA U18 AmeriCup squad.
Collin Murray-Boyles was an instant contributor in his rookie season for the Gamecocks. He made the SEC All-Freshman Team and guided the Gamecocks’ men’s side to their first appearance in the NCAA Tournament since 2017. In June 2025, the Toronto Raptors drafted Murray-Boyles as their ninth overall pick.
Kitts and Murray-Boyles went official on Instagram in 2024. There was a lot of speculation around their relationship before their official announcement. Chloe Kitts posted on her story and captioned it “my love.”
Ever since then, the couple has not shied away from supporting each other publicly. South Carolina’s power couple has won fans’ hearts with their sweet exchanges on each other’s social media posts.
