PIC: Paige Bueckers Poses in Pink Bikini as Dallas Star Enjoys Offseason in Turks and Caicos

Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings did not qualify for the WNBA playoffs. While Bueckers emerged as one of the league’s biggest stars in her rookie season, she was unable to get the Wings to the playoffs. The Wings played their last regular-season game on Sept. 11. As a result, Bueckers has had the opportunity to enjoy a much-needed vacation.

As is normal for players entering the WNBA, Bueckers did not get much of an offseason. She had to go straight from winning a national championship with the UConn Huskies in March Madness to entering the draft and starting her first pro season in mid-May. Based on an Instagram post she made on Thursday, she is getting some much-needed rest and relaxation.

She is on a trip to Turks and Caicos and posted several photos earlier this week. They include a photo where she posed on a yellow jet ski while wearing a pink bikini.
“And now the full Turks summary,” Paige Bueckers wrote.

Paige Bueckers Emerged as a WNBA Star as a Rookie

Paige Bueckers appeared in 26 games as a rookie and emerged as one of the league’s biggest stars. After getting selected with the first pick in the 2025 WNBA draft, Bueckers averaged 19.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, 5.4 assists, and 1.6 steals per game. She was named the WNBA Rookie of the Year and qualified for the WNBA All-Star Game.

Bueckers is now resting before she gets into her offseason training. She will be looking to continue her forward momentum in her second year. While she emerged as a star as a rookie, it is entirely possible that she has a sophomore slump. That is what happened to the 2024 first overall pick, Caitlin Clark.

Clark became the face of the WNBA in 2024, averaging 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 8.4 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. However, she dealt with injuries as a sophomore and saw statistical regression across the board.

So, while Bueckers looks like she is set to emerge as one of the best players in the league, regression can happen to anyone. She will be looking to avoid a slump similar to Clark’s.
