Drew Allar’s GF Emma Bush Drops Heartfelt 3-Word Comment Ahead of Penn State-UCLA Showdown

Penn State has dropped from being the No. 2 college football team in the country all the way to No. 7 after their home loss to Oregon. Drew Allar and the Nittany Lions do have a massive chance to bounce back this Saturday as they take on the struggling UCLA Bruins, who have yet to get on the win column.

Following that loss to Oregon, Allar has faced much criticism from fans, with the quarterback coming into the season with plenty of hype. However, before the game against UCLA, his girlfriend, Emma Bush, gave him a three-word comment of encouragement as the Nittany Lions aim to bounce back from defeat:

“I love you!” she wrote on Instagram.

Emma Bush and Drew Allar are actually high school sweethearts, dating when they were still studying at Medina High School in Ohio. While they went to rival schools, Bush going to Ohio State while Allar going to Penn State, the two have maintained a long distance relationship that is still going strong to this day. She is currently a pre-law student over at Ohio State.

The two started dating in 2019, confirming their relationship on Instagram in September of that year, with the two going to their high school dance together. They have supported one another since, with the two attending senior prom together before graduating and then going to different schools.

Despite the long distance relationship, the couple have stayed strong, with Bush often traveling to see her boyfriend play and cheer him on. In the off season, they even travel around the country together.

Drew Allar Reflects on OT Loss vs. Oregon

The showdown against UCLA will be happening at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, which means that the Bruins will be holding the home field advantage. However, that is not a guarantee, as Drew Allar and the Penn State Nittany Lions learned against Oregon.

Ahead of the game against the Bruins, Drew Allar spoke with CBS Sports regarding that overtime loss and admitted that they have to take the correct approach this week against the Bruins.

“Reflecting on this last week, it could be the best thing that’s happened for us, but we have to take the right approach into this week,” he said. “It starts today with our practice habits and that sort of thing. It doesn’t matter who we’re playing. The standard’s the standard, and every week, we have to be finding a way to elevate it and get better because at the end of the day, the championship isn’t won in September.”

Penn State came into the season as one of the favorites to win the national title. That loss to Oregon was just one loss, and the team could bounce back with a win against the Bruins.
