On Saturday afternoon, Notre Dame welcomes Boise State to South Bend for what is shaping up to be an interesting matchup between two programs on opposite trajectories. The Fighting Irish are sky-high after blowing out Arkansas on the road, while the Broncos are looking to show that their third win in a row wasn’t just a fluke.
For fans watching, they will do so with the familiar voices from NBC’s college football broadcasts.

What To Expect In The Notre Dame vs. Boise State Game?
The Notre Dame offense has finally begun to click with CJ Carr as the starter. The redshirt freshman quarterback was named Manning Award Quarterback of the Week after throwing multiple touchdown passes to the Razorbacks. His progress has been incredible considering the issues that the Notre Dame group faced in the early season.
The duo of Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price will continue to create nightmares for defensive coordinators. Their combined six touchdowns against Arkansas showcased their explosiveness rushing attack.
Meanwhile, the Irish defense showed some signs of improvement last weekend. The unit looked relatively more disciplined than in their previous games. This is noteworthy for a team that statistically ranked near the bottom of the nation in various categories.
Finally, after last week’s domination, Boise State presents another interesting challenge. The Broncos’ offensive line, spearheaded by left tackle Kage Casey, can create running lanes while protecting quarterback Maddux Madsen. In addition, they have a trio rushing attack that may seem potent for the opposing defense.
However, the Broncos were blown out 34-7 at South Florida for a reason, as they have some serious defensive issues. In particular, the lack of tackling hurt them during that game, and the Irish may look to exploit those same issues in this fixture.
