After that humiliating 48-14 home loss to Utah on Sept. 27, the West Virginia Mountaineers are heading to the Beehive State, this time to Provo to take on No. 23 BYU on Friday. The Cougars are still undefeated and are looking for another win at home against the struggling Mountaineers, who need a bounce back win after that loss against Utah.
BYU is coming off a very close victory against Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes at Boulder and with their 4-0 start, will be a daunting task for the Mountaineers. West Virginia, on the other hand, suffered 30-point losses not just to Utah, but also Kansas, and their record on the road this season has so far been unimpressive.

With ESPN airing and streaming this Week 6 showdown nationally, the team that will be calling the game will be Anish Schroff and Andre Ware. Both of them will be at the LaVell Edwards Stadium live as they call all the action in this college football showdown.
Anish Schroff, known for also being announcer for Carolina Panthers games in the NFL, will serve as the play-by-play man for the game on Friday.
Meanwhile, former Heisman Trophy winner Andre Ware, who previously played as the quarterback for the Houston Cougars, will be the color commentator and analyst. He also has the distinction of being the first African-American quarterback to ever win the Heisman trophy, considered the most prestigious individual award in college football.
The third person in that broadcast team at LaVell Edwards Stadium will be Paul Carcaterra, who will be the game’s sideline reporter.

While BYU has been surging, West Virginia has been struggling. This is not looking good for the Mountaineers coming into the game, with many expecting another blowout road loss for the team.
