Los Angeles Rams vs. San Francisco 49ers Week 5 Injury Report And Depth Chart: Updates on Brock Purdy, Tyler Higby and More

Two California behemoths collide as the Los Angeles Rams and the San Francisco 49ers face off for Thursday Night Football. However, while the Rams are missing a few players to injury, the 49ers are coming into Thursday’s game a lot more banged up than any other NFL team right now, with several big names expected to not play against the Rams.

This raises the question of who will be playing on Thursday, and who among the big 49ers names will be missing?

San Francisco 49ers Week 5 Injury Report

    Brock Purdy

His battle with turf toe is not yet over and he has been listed to not play on Thursday against the Rams. Turf toe is a very painful injury despite the name, with Purdy already missing a game for the injury-filled 49ers already.

    George Kittle

The 49ers are not just missing their star quarterback, Brock Purdy, but also their star tight end, George Kittle, who is listed in the injury reserve as he is out with a hamstring injury.

    Nick Bosa

Another injured star, he is also on the injured reserve as he is currently healing from an ACL injury.

    Ricky Pearsall

The wide receiver will not be playing as he is currently suffering from a knee injury.

    Jauan Jennings

Another injured wide receiver, he has an injured ankle and injured ribs and will not be playing against LA.

    Jordan Watkins

A third injured wide receiver, he has been ruled out due to a calf injury.

LA Rams Week 5 Injury Report

    Tyler Higbee

The tight end has a hip injury and has been deemed questionable against the 49ers.

    Ahkello Witherspoon

The cornerback is currently on the injury reserve as he has a collarbone injury.

    Keir Thomas

Keir Thomas is also on the injury reserve though his exact injury was not disclosed.
