Former LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne will turn 23 years old on Wednesday and it seems she and her boyfriend Paul Skenes has already kicked off the celebrations in New York.
One day ahead of her birthday, Dunne dropped a photo with Skenes as the duo were seen stepping out in New York City to celebrate her birthday a little early. Dunne was in a chic strapless gold mini-dress paired with sleek heels. She was also carrying a designer handbag. Meanwhile, the Pittsburgh Pirates ace opted for a more casual look, donning a blue button-down shirt, cream pants, and white sneakers.

Olivia Dunne and Paul Skenes have been dating for almost over two years now. The duo first met on the LSU campus. Skenes was a pitcher for the Tigers and even led them in the College World Series before being first overall in the 2023 MLB draft. He made his debut in May last year against the Chicago Cubs and since then he has been one of MLB’s most dominant pitchers, earning two straight All-Star selections.
After winning the 2024 NL Rookie of the Year, Skenes is now looking forward to win the NL Cy Young this year.
Olivia Dunne Showing All Types of Emotions in Paul Skenes’ Final Regular Season Start
Last week, Paul Skenes made his final start of the season against the Cincinnati Reds. He was his usual best as he pitched six shutout innings while allowing only four hits. He recorded seven strikeouts while walking none.
It was a great start from Skenes, but he had his moment which had Dunne on the edge of her seat at Great American Ball Park. Cameras caught her visibly anxious and sweating, which went viral online. But when the Pirates pitcher recorded his final out in the sixth inning, Dunne was visibly hyped up and she even threw a fist pump in excitement.
Dunne later posted a message on X to sum up Skenes’ incredible season:
“best szn I did ever see.”
With Dunne also having finished up her five years in college and Skenes done with the 2025 season since his Pirates have not qualified for the postseason, the duo are enjoying some quality time with each other.
