Some college football stadiums can be daunting to play on for any visiting team, and one of them is Florida’s The Swamp, which Arch Manning and Texas will be visiting next. The Manning family’s latest product has admitted that he has never played in Florida’s home stadium, though his NFL legend uncles Eli and Peyton have.
According to college football insider CJ Vogel, Arch’s two famous uncles told the Texas quarterback that he should prepare himself when he plays at “The Swamp.”
“Arch Manning says he has never been to The Swamp, but that his uncles Peyton and Eli did and both say it is “the real deal,” he wrote on X.

Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, more famously known as “The Swamp,” has been described as having one of the most electric atmospheres in college football, as the Florida crowd is loud and will seek to boost its home team with its electric energy. This is what Arch Manning and the rest of the Texas Longhorns will be facing on Saturday.
Despite this atmosphere at home, Florida has been struggling and are currently 1-3 in the standings after one-sided defeats to Miami and LSU. They even lost at The Swamp on Sept. 7 against South Florida in what may be the biggest upset of the season so far. That South Florida win at The Swamp is proof that, while daunting, winning there is more than possible, especially with the Gators’ current struggles.
As for Texas, the Longhorns have been on a three-game winning streak, though it had been a rough start for Arch Manning, with many fans slamming the quarterback over his lackluster performances in that loss against Ohio State and that win over UTEP.

Arch Manning And Texas Actually The Betting Favorites Vs. Florida At The Swamp
Despite the game happening in one of the most daunting stadiums for road teams, the 1-3 Florida Gators are actually the underdogs against the 3-1 Texas Longhorns. FanDuel Sportsbook even has Arch Manning and company as the -6.5 (-115) favorites, with Florida being the +6.5 (-105) underdogs.
The total for Texas is Over 41.5 (-112), while the total for Florida will be Under 41.5(-105). The moneyline for Texas will be -245, while the moneyline for the Gators will be +210.
