Travis Hunter Embraces Parenthood While Entering the NFL
This new phase of parenthood comes at a very important moment in Travis’ NFL career. The Jaguars’ rookie is currently in the midst of his first NFL season. The No.2 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft will have expectations on expectations. And he is definitely living up to that designation, playing wide receiver and cornerback for the Jaguars.
His ability to play dual-threat wide receiver/cornerback has become an essential part of the Jaguars’ game. Recently, he experienced his highest single-game receiving yards this season. This included a ridiculous 28-yard reception that fully displayed and highlighted his offensive nature.

Yet there has been some discussion about best managing his dual-threat capacity. In a recent win against the San Francisco 49ers, Hunter did not play a defensive snap in the second half of the game. Speculation about how the team will continue to balance Hunter’s workload will continue, and the best way to capitalize on his talents without wearing him down.
Despite injury scares, Hunter has escaped injury and looks to be a unique asset for offense and defense moving forward when the Jaguars need him.
