Mike Sainristil Showers Love to Ex Michigan Teammate Blake Corum Over Exciting Pregnancy News With Wife Makiah

Cornerback Mike Sainristil and running back Blake Corum are no longer teammates. After getting drafted in 2024, they went their separate ways. However, before their NFL careers started, they spent four years as teammates on the Michigan Wolverines. Together, they helped Michigan win a national championship in 2023.

Sainristil is now a member of the Washington Commanders, and Corum is on the Los Angeles Rams. While they live on opposite sides of the country, they still appear to be close from their college days. As a result, it was not surprising to see them interact on social media on Saturday.

Blake Corum’s wife, Makiah Corum, posted on Instagram, announcing her pregnancy.

    “🤍, 💍, then… 2026 🍼,” Makiah Corum wrote.

This led to a big reaction from Sainristil, who had a two-word response in the comments.

    “Oh yeaaaaa!!!!!!” Mike Sainristil wrote.

Both Blake Corum and Mike Sainristil are in the early stages of the second season of their respective NFL careers. Through three games, Sainristil has registered 13 total tackles, including nine solo efforts. Corum has 14 carries for 99 yards and one TD. He also made one reception for 14 yards.

Should You Start Blake Corum in Fantasy Football in Week 4?

Blake Corum has gotten progressively better throughout the season. After a slow first week where he only got one carry for two yards, he jumped up to five carries for 44 yards and one TD in Week 2. This past week, he took another jump, carrying the ball eight times for 53 yards against the Eagles. As a result, he is starting to look like a fantasy option, especially in deeper leagues.

As things stand, he is still probably best kept on the bench. The biggest issue is that it is unclear how many carries he will get a week. If he were guaranteed to get at least 10 carries, he would be a good option to start. However, as things stand, that is not guaranteed. So, while he is a good player to keep on the bench, he might not become starter quality in most fantasy leagues until later in the season.
