No. 3 Penn State and Drew Allar are struggling in their Week 5 game against No. 6 Oregon, one of their top Big Ten rivals. The Nittany Lions’ offense has struggled in the encounter, with Drew Allar not showing his best game.
Allar has only recorded 118 yards through three and a half quarters, with one touchdown. Those numbers pair with an incredibly poor 57.8% completion percentage.
This bad performance by someone who’s allegedly one of the top passers in the nation led fans to vent their frustration through jokes and memes on social media. Some of them focused on the fact that, according to them, Allar’s only reason for success is a powerful physique. Should Drew Allar be grateful for his physical standing? Is that the only reason why he has a career?

Oregon vs. Penn State, Comparing Both Sides’ Offensive Performances
In contrast to Allar, while not having a night to remember, Oregon’s Dante Moore has been a safer pair of hands throughout the night. Moore has recorded 248 passing yards.
The Ducks have so far recorded 371 yards, while the Nittany Lions have only recorded 184. The big difference has also been the running game, where Penn State only has 66 yards to Oregon’s 168.
