Grace Harbaugh has always known how to capture attention, as far as college football is concerned. Just hours before Michigan’s showdown against the Washington Huskies in the College Football Playoff National Championship in January 2024, Grace garnered all the attention with a perfectly coordinated Michigan-themed attire.
The then-University of Michigan student chose her outfit, keeping the game in mind. Jim Harbaugh’s daughter paired a sleek black top with classic blue denim jeans while donning the classic Michigan jacket. She captioned her Instagram story,
“One more sleep.”
Michigan subsequently took care of Washington, winning the national championship 34-13. The victory secured the Wolverines a perfect 15-0 season while clinching their first national title since 1997 and the 12th in the program’s history.
Michigan’s rush was overwhelming to stop, achieving 303 yards on the ground vs. the Huskies. Running backs, Blake Corum and Donovan Edwards, rushed for 100 yards in the same game, the first time in history for the same team in a CFP Championship. Edwards had the most impressive moments of the night, with touchdown runs of 41 and 46 yards.

Grace Harbaugh Continues to Cheer Father Jim Harbaugh’s New NFL Team
Fast forward to 2025, and Grace Harbaugh is still seen vehemently cheering on her father, Jim Harbaugh, who is now the head coach of the LA Chargers in the NFL. She was recently seen at a home game bright and early, supporting the Chargers. Grace consistently shows herself as a fan of her father’s coaching journey.
Grace has social media entirely figured out. She posts a lot about vacations and sporting events, and shares glimpses of her lifestyle.
HC Jim Harbaugh on his father’s advice for when to retire: “You coach as long as you possibly can until you cannot do one more script, you can’t walk out on the field for one more practice or do one more gameplan-that’s when you know you should coach for two more years.” pic.twitter.com/gaaOP2cxKi

As for Jim Harbaugh, getting used to his new team has been challenging, like after running back Najee Harris went down to a season-ending injury and had to be replaced. Jim appeared calm and was optimistic about the other running backs who were behind Harris on the depth chart. Harbaugh started the season well, though, starting the Chargers at an impressive 3-0.
