The Florida State Seminoles take on the Virginia Cavaliers for Week 5, though both teams have so far been hobbled by the injury bug. FSU may be missing their biggest name for this game, while the Cavaliers may be missing several key defensive pieces.
Florida has one of the best offenses in college football right now, being ranked the No. 1 scoring offense, though their current spate of injuries may affect that. Meanwhile, Virginia is coming off a tough loss against NC State, having led 24-14 at halftime, only to lose 34-31 but soon bounced back with a 48-20 statement win against Stanford.

Florida State Seminoles Week 5 Injury Report
Tommy Castellanos – Probable
Seminoles fans collectively gasped when their star quarterback, Tommy Castellanos, limped off the field after getting banged up badly against Kent State. However, the FSU QB1 has been listed as probable, which means he will probably play against the Cavaliers.
Jayvan Boggs – Questionable
While Castellanos is expected to return, there is a possibility that he will be without several options, as running back Jayvan Boggs has been listed as questionable. His injury was not disclosed.
Kevin Wynn – Questionable
Kevin Wynn was also listed as questionable, and the true freshman DL’s injury was also not revealed.
Kam Davis – Out
Running back Kam Davis is actually listed as out and will not be playing against Virginia. His injury was also not disclosed.
Virginia Cavaliers Week 5 Injury Report
Dre Walker – Out
The cornerback suffered a leg injury ahead of training camp and has been listed as out, missing the showdown against the Seminoles.
Ja’Maric Morris – Out
Florida State has one of the best offensive games in college football, and Virginia will be missing several key defensive pieces, including Ja’Maric Morris, who is out after an ACL injury.
Triston Ward – Out
Wide receiver Triston Ward will also not be playing on Friday, as he has suffered a season-ending injury during the fall training camp.
