Penn State’s Drew Allar is one of the hottest collegiate quarterbacks today, and because of this, he has a lot of NIL deals under his belt. His latest one has now been revealed, and it will be Venmo, as he will be promoting the new Penn State Venmo Debit Card, which is powered by Mastercard.
Other schools, including Michigan State, Rutgers University, the University of Illinois, the University of Iowa, the University of Michigan and the University of Washington, will all be getting their own school-themed debit cards from Venmo, and Allar will be the face of the Penn State version of this.
Those who avail of the deal will get some bonuses, including a free 12-month trial to Perplexity Pro and a 40% on a Big Ten Plus annual subscription. They will also get up to 15% cash back on ESPN, Fanatics, and ASOS.
Allar himself released a statement on this partnership:
“From splitting meals with my roommates to paying for my off-season vacation, my Penn State Venmo Debit Card makes everyday life easy,” he said. Using my NIL earnings to support my team, give back to youth sports programs, and stay connected off the field during my senior year is incredibly meaningful. I’m excited to partner with Venmo to bring new experiences to Penn State students and fans – on campus, in the community, and beyond.”
Others who are part of this NIL deal between Venmo and various schools across the country include Sam Leavitt, NiJaree Canady, and Olivia Miles. They will also be the faces of their respective schools’ college-branded debit cards.

How Much Does Drew Allar Make With NIL
The Nittany Lions are one of the favorites to win it all this year, and Drew Allar is considered the one leading that push for a national title. With this much attention, On3 has valued his NIL at $2.8 million, making him one of the most valuable college athletes in terms of NIL valuation.
He has several NIL deals, including American Eagle and Nike, as well as the Penn State Nittany Lions collective known as Happy Valley United. He also has NIL deals with EA Sports through their College Football series and with Exit 66 Publications.
His NIL valuation has gone down over the last few weeks, though this deal with Venmo may take it up a few notches. As of writing, he is ranked No. 10 in the On3 College Football NIL Valuations rankings.
