Is Zach Charbonnet Playing in Week 4? All We Know About Seahawks Star’s NFL Fantasy Outlook vs Cardinals

The Seahawks’ backfield has been dealing with injury concerns early in the season, and Zach Charbonnet is once again in the spotlight. With Seattle preparing to face the Cardinals in Week 4, fantasy managers are keeping a close watch on his status and potential workload.

Charbonnet’s availability has been a key storyline for Seattle’s offense, especially with the team trying to establish a steady ground game. His health not only impacts fantasy managers but also the Seahawks’ ability to balance their attack.

    Zach Charbonnet Injury Update

Charbonnet is listed as questionable with a foot injury heading into Week 4. He missed last week’s matchup but has been trending in the right direction. Considering he was out last week, a ‘questionable’ status is surely an upgrade and a positive sign for the franchise and fans.

The early-week practice reports had him as a full participant, which is a strong indication he could be ready to return. Seattle will likely make a final call closer to kickoff, but signs point toward him being active against Arizona.

Other than Charbonnet, four other Seahawks are on the injury report. Josh Jones is ‘Out’, Nick Emmanwori is ‘Doubtful’, Boye Mafe and Anthony Bradford are ‘Questionable.’

    Zach Charbonnet Fantasy Football Outlook

Through two games this season, Charbonnet has logged 27 carries for 57 yards and a single rushing touchdown and has yet to record a reception. His efficiency has been underwhelming at just over two yards per carry, and his role has been secondary whenever Kenneth Walker is on the field.

Fantasy projections for Week 4 put him in the flex territory, with modest yardage and touchdown potential. If Walker is heavily involved, Charbonnet’s touches could be capped once again. His best-case scenario is carving out red-zone work or benefiting if Walker’s usage is dialled back on the short week.

    Final Word

Charbonnet is trending toward playing against the Cardinals, but expectations should be managed. He remains a complementary option in the Seahawks’ backfield, with fantasy value that leans more on touchdown upside than consistent volume. He’s a playable depth piece, but not a player to rely on as a core starter in Week 4 lineups.

The Seahawks started the season with a 13-17 loss against the 49ers. Since then, they have managed to bounce back. The Seahawks have won back-to-back games against the Steelers and the Saints.

When they suit up against the Cardinals tonight at the State Farm Arena, they’d look to extend their unbeaten run. The Cardinals are also 2-1 in the season so far, with their only loss coming against the 49ers.
