Stefon Diggs' GF Cardi B Reveals Real Reason Behind Delayed Divorce Battle With Rapper Offset: "This Man Wants Me To Pay All His Taxes"

Cardi B recently announced that she’s expecting a baby with New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs. This would be her fourth baby, having had three before with rapper Offset. According to several reports, the Grammy Award winner and the multiple-time Pro Bowler started dating in October 2024.

It’s obvious that their relationship has advanced quickly, but she has yet to formally end her marriage with the father of her three children. Cardi B’s recent comments point to a financial disagreement with her former partner as the reason she has been unable to end the marriage. She said:

” I’m still tied to that marriage on contract because this man wants me to pay all his taxes, give him millions of dollars and one of my properties, nahh I have to fight for that, that’s what I’m fighting for, I can’t stop living my life because someone wants to keep me hostage.”

Diggs is also in an uncomfortable situation. Last week, it was revealed that the NFL player was in a legal battle with influencer Aileen Lopera, who’s suing him for the paternity of her daughter, Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera.

At the request of Diggs, a Los Angeles County judge ordered both parties to submit to genetic testing on July 17.

Cardi B announces That She’s Expecting a Baby With New England’s Stefon Diggs

In an interview on CBS Mornings last week with journalist Gayle King, Cardi B announced that she was expecting a baby with her boyfriend, New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs.

It was King who brought up rumours of the rapper’s pregnancy, to which she replied:

“Well, yes, I am. I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs.”

King went on to ask how the pregnancy had been affecting her so far. Cardi B replied:

“I’m happy. I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong, very powerful that I’m doing all this work, but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”

She also said she feels lucky to have the support of Diggs and that they feel incredibly well about where their relationship is at. According to her, they’re at similar points in their lives.
