    In the intense matchup on Monday Night Football, the Lions were the first to disturb the scorecard when Jahmyr Gibbs rushed up the middle for a 1-yard touchdown. Kicker Jake Bates scored the extra point. Baltimore responded with a 28-yard rushing touchdown from Derrick Henry to even the game.

With less than six minutes remaining in the second quarter, the Lions took the lead after David Montgomery rushed up the middle for a 1-yard touchdown. However, with less than one minute remaining, Lamar Jackson connected with Rashod Bateman for a 3-yard touchdown to make it 14-14 going into halftime.
