Two perennial Super Bowl contenders, the Baltimore Ravens and the Detroit Lions, locked horns on Monday Night Football at M&T Bank Stadium. Both teams are off to a 1-1 start.
The Ravens went down in a close defeat against the Buffalo Bills before coming out swinging in a Week 2 win against the Cleveland Browns. Meanwhile, the Lions also lost their season opener to the Green Bay Packers before crushing the Chicago Bears in Week 2.
Lamar Jackson started as the quarterback for the Ravens, while Jared Goff played the role of the Lions’ signal-caller.

Baltimore Ravens vs Detroit Lions Game Summary
In the intense matchup on Monday Night Football, the Lions were the first to disturb the scorecard when Jahmyr Gibbs rushed up the middle for a 1-yard touchdown. Kicker Jake Bates scored the extra point. Baltimore responded with a 28-yard rushing touchdown from Derrick Henry to even the game.
In the second quarter, the defenses of both teams watered down several offensive opportunities. With less than six minutes remaining in the second quarter, the Lions took the lead after David Montgomery rushed up the middle for a 1-yard touchdown. However, with less than one minute remaining, Lamar Jackson connected with Rashod Bateman for a 3-yard touchdown to make it 14-14 going into halftime.
