Miami Hurricanes quarterback Carson Beck‘s sister, Kylie, was recently moved to tears while discussing the fifth-year college player. On Saturday, Sept. 20, @collegegameday on Instagram shared a carousel post about Carson’s journey from leaving the Georgia Bulldogs in 2024 and having to endure a season-ending injury in that year’s SEC championship game.
This prompted Kylie Beck to repost the upload on her own Instagram story with a heartfelt message, in which she expressed her pride in her brother. She also used a video where Carson explains what truly went down with his injury. Carson injured the ulnar collateral ligament in his throwing elbow during the intense affair against the Texas Longhorns, causing him to undergo surgery.
“Now this is charisma, this is strength, this is passion, this is a fighter, this is resiliency, this is courage, this is never giving up…this is God. Tears. Proof that you NEVER ever know what someone is going through behind the scenes…People are so quick to judge and so slow to be empathetic,” Kylie Beck wrote.

Luckily for the Beck siblings and the Bulldogs, especially since Kylie is a former cheerleader at the University of Georgia, coach Kirby Smart’s team won the 2024 conference title, as they defeated the Longhorns by three points, 22-19. They finished the year with an overall record of 11-3, and Carson transferred to the Hurricanes for his final year of college eligibility.

Carson Beck Says He Immediately Knew That His 2024 Campaign Was Put To Halt
In the video that Kylie Beck reposted, Carson Beck revealed that once he was down on the pitch during the 2024 SEC championship game, he immediately knew that he would be out for a significant amount of time. The veteran has now made a full recovery and is uncorking his one-and-done campaign with coach Mario Cristobal’s Miami Hurricanes.
“I knew I was done, like it just, and that’s why I didn’t get up immediately. I walk into a locker room and I try to just grip a football and I couldn’t even grip a football, and I didn’t know the severity of the injury yet, but obviously in the, in the following day, finding that out was really, really tough for me. It’s kind of was over,” Carson said.
