Fans are taking a dig at Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts for not throwing the ball to wide receiver AJ Brown in the Week 3 game against the Los Angeles Rams. Brown is a three-time Pro Bowler, who has consistently caught for 1,000+ yards every season since he made his debut except for the 2021 season. However, this year he has started the season slowly, though not entirely his fault.
Entering halftime, Brown wasn’t targeted even once as he ended the first half without any contribution despite playing all the minutes.

Fans took issue with it as Hurts became the person they blamed.
“AJ Brown can’t throw himself the ball, post about the fraud quarterback bro,” one fan said.
“Hurts is his QB lmaooo,” another fan added.
“Jalen hurts is a terrible quarterback,” one fan commented.
“Hurts is a b*tch,” one fan wrote.
The reactions continued as fans sided with Brown on not being targeted enough.
“Wack a** graphic smh because AJ can’t throw the ball to himself,” one fan added.
“Well when you don’t have a QB how can you put up numbers?” another fan wrote.

AJ Brown Came Up Clutch To Score First TD of the Season
While AJ Brown didn’t get an opportunity to catch any receptions, in the second half, Jalen Hurts connected with him on a nine-yard touchdown pass just before the completion of the third quarter. That TD reception served to make it a one-possession game for the Eagles.

At the time of writing, Brown has caught four receptions for 61 yards and one touchdown. Thus, it seems Hurts has started to find Brown in the field to move the ball forward.
Meanwhile, Brown is observing a relatively quiet season statistically. He saw limited targets and hadn’t scored yet before this game. In the season opener win against the Cowboys, Brown was involved only minimally, catching one reception for eight yards. In the Week 2 win against the Kansas City Chiefs, he hauled in five receptions for 27 yards.
