Chicago Bears Safety Jonathan Owens and seven-time Olympic gold medalist gymnast Simone Byles are considered one of sports’ biggest power couples. The two showed their love to one another as the Olympic gymnast showed off their matching white outfits in a sweet photoshoot.

Biles wore a white sleeveless top and jeans while Owens went all-white with a white t-shirt and white shorts. The two just did a photoshoot with Rachel Taylor Photography, a renowned wedding photographer. The two got married on April 22, 2023 in a courthouse ceremony and then tied the knot again in a more lavish ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California in Mexico. Since getting married, she has been a common sight in his games for the Chicago Bears.
He is also supportive of her and was there when Biles qualified for the Paris Olympics and was also there when then-President Joe Biden awarded her the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest honor a civilian US citizen can get.
Jonathan Owens was able to go with her to Paris of the 2024 Summer Olympics, as he had a very specific demand in his contract with the Bears that year. He revealed that being able to cheer on his wife for the Olympics was negotiated into his contract and he went to Paris and joined her parents in the stands during the women’s gymnastics team finals, which they won gold.
Jonathan Owens Did Not Know Who Simone Biles Was After Meeting Her Via a Dating App
Usually, the NFL player would be the bigger name in a sports couple, though in the case of Simone Biles, she is one of the rare exceptions as she is an icon of gymnastics. In the Olympics alone, she holds seven golds, two silvers and two bronze medals, and in addition to her 30 World Championship medals, she is considered the most decorated gymnast in history. However, when she met her future husband via dating app, he did not know her.
In an interview via Texas Monthly, the Bears safety admitted he had no idea who she was after they met via a dating app in 2020. It was her that made the first move and they got closer when the global pandemic happened.
