The season hasn’t gone well so far for Billy Napier and the Florida Gators. He has now lost three consecutive games, including Saturday’s blowout loss against Carson Beck’s Miami Hurricanes. The 7-26 defeat has given fans more reasons to troll him.

The Gators’ last two losses have been humiliating. Their offense crashed against LSU in the second half, which led to a 10-20 loss in a game that was close at halftime. On Saturday, they went scoreless in three quarters, and their defense was helpless against the Hurricanes.
Brian Kelly Has Faith in Billy Napier
After the Gators’ loss, LSU’s Brian Kelly was asked about the pushback that Napier was getting. Kelly told the reporters that it was beyond his understanding how people could even question Napier’s ability to coach a team.
“Crazy,” Kelly told reporters on Monday (42:05). “Craziness. He’s a really good football coach. He knows his team. He knows what their strengths and weaknesses are. You can see it on film. He’s building a culture that is fit to his eye in terms of what he wants to do. He’s doing it his way, and that’s awesome.”
Kelly added that Napier can win championships, and he’s the kind of coach who should be allowed freedom to experiment and do things his way before it clicks for him. Kelly believes Napier is stabilizing the program, and he should not focus on the outside noise.
