Michael Irvin’s High-Energy Siren Actions On Miami Sideline Draw Hilarious Reactions From Fans: “Get Me Mike’s Dealer”

Former Miami Hurricanes standout and three-time Super Bowl champion Michael Irvin garnered hilarious reactions from fans for his recent actions. On Saturday, Sept. 20, Irvin posted a video of himself doing a Hurricanes tradition of cranking a siren with the University of Miami’s mascot, Sebastian the Ibis, during a home game.

The Hurricanes were taking on the Florida Gators for their Week 4 matchup of the 2025 NFL season, when Irvin was invited to perform the tradition. Irvin is known to be one of the best products from the Hurricanes’ football program, so it’s more than fitting that he was given the honor at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.

“For the sake of your heart, lay off the blow,” another user shared.

“UNC still got it 🤣😂 @michaelirvin88 was cranking that sh*t 😂🤣,” a fan wrote with a plethora of laughing emojis.

Other users on X were just happy that Irvin made an appearance at the University of Miami home pitch.

“No better alum than the Playmaker,” another fan pointed out.

“Need to beef up that siren. Irvin about bust the hinges on that thing. @michaelirvin88
your missing your X banner I’m sure you wanted to put something Canes on there,” a fan posted.

Irvin spent all four years of his collegiate football tenure with the Hurricanes, from 1984 to 1987.

Hailed by many of the Hurricanes faithful as one of the greatest players from the program, Irvin was a national champion with the Hurricanes in 1987 and was also named a First-Team All-American in 1986 and on the second team twice, in 1985 and 1987. He was drafted into the NFL in 1988 by the Dallas Cowboys with the 11th pick.
