The youngest daughter of NFL legend Deion Sanders and current Alabama A&M Bulldogs guard Shelomi Sanders reacted to a recent post about Myles Slusher. On Saturday, Sept. 20, the Purdue Boilermakers football squad’s social media team posted about fifth-year defensive back Slusher on Instagram after he made a significant play in the recent game for coach Barry Odom.
This prompted Shelomi to drop a one-word reaction in support of Slusher for his electric play against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in away territory, Notre Dame Stadium in Indianapolis. Sanders and Slusher have been wearing each other’s jerseys and attending each other’s games lately.
“Myles making a big play before the delay,” @boilerfootball wrote on Instagram.

“Yesssirrrr,” Sanders commented.

Sanders has also reposted the upload on her Instagram stories, choosing to highlight the photo of Slusher, wherein his hands were raised in celebration. The next photo of the post shows Slusher being surrounded by his Purdue teammates as they were hyped up with the play.

Unfortunately for Sanders and the rest of the Boilermakers faithful, Slusher and his team lost to the Fighting Irish by 26 points, 56-30. Purdue now falls to a 2-2 record in the 2025 college football season. The Boilermakers are dealing with back-to-back losses after starting the year 2-0, with their previous defeat coming against the USC Trojans, 33-17.
For Sanders, she is continuing to ramp up for the upcoming 2025-26 collegiate basketball campaign with coach Dawn Thornton’s Bulldogs. Next year, Sanders will be entering her senior year of college tenure, her second at Alabama A&M.
