Week 4 of the college football season is here, but not all teams will be playing. Some teams already had a bye week in Week 3, and now a few big-name teams will be off in Week 4. Here is a look at the most notable college football teams that are not playing in Week 4.

Ranked College Football Teams With a Bye in Week 4
Ohio State Buckeyes
Ohio State is the No. 1-ranked team in the nation and is coming off a 37-9 win over Ohio. The team will have a bye week this week before playing Washington in Week 5.
Penn State Nittany Lions
No. 2-ranked Penn State is also off for Week 4. The Nittany Lions are coming off a 52-6 win over Villanova and will be back in action in Week 5 for a big game against No. 6-ranked Oregon.
Georgia Bulldogs
No. 5-ranked Georgia will have a break in Week 4 after a narrow overtime victory over No. 15-ranked Tennessee last week. They will then get ready for another tough game against No. 14-ranked Alabama in Week 5.
Texas A&M Aggies
The No. 10-ranked Aggies are coming off a narrow 41-40 win over No. 24-ranked Notre Dame. They will have a chance to rest before playing No. 22-ranked Auburn in Week 5.

Iowa State Cyclones
The No. 12-ranked Iowa State Cyclones have looked good to start the season. They are one of the only teams to have played four times already this year, having played in Week 0. They will now have a chance to rest before trying to secure a 5-0 start with a game against Arizona.
Alabama Crimson Tide
The No. 14-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide have recovered after a Week 1 loss to No. 7-ranked Florida State. They now get to rest before their next big test against Georgia in Week 5.
Other Notable Teams With a Bye in Week 4
While there are six ranked teams with bye weeks in Week 4, they are not the only notable teams not playing. Here is a list of every other Power Four team not playing this week.
