Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff’s wife, Christen Harper, is friends with Katie Austin, who co-won the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit “Swimsearch” casting call with Harper in 2021. Moreover, she was named a co-Rookie of the Year in 2022.
On Tuesday, Austin dropped photos from her breathtaking photoshoot in Bermuda with Sports Illustrated. She posed in a brown bikini while waist-deep in crystal-clear waters. She was captured by renowned photographer Ben Watts inside a striking cave setting.

The photoshoot was part of SI Swimsuit’s latest project. It brought together a creative team including MJ Day, Jodie Boland, Sevan Everitt, Brian Buenaventura and Cindi Blair Productions.
Katie Austin Traveled to Detroit to support Christen Harper’s husband Jared Goff’s Lions
Last year in Jan. 2024, Katie Austin traveled to Detroit to see unfold a history in the franchise, thanks to quarterback Jared Goff. After 32 years, Detroit registered a victory in the playoffs, as they defeated the LA Chargers in a thrilling 24-23 wild-card contest. Goff finished the game, throwing for 277 yards, while completing 22 of 27 passes, including one touchdown.
For that game, Christen Harper’s friend Katie Austin made a 36-hour trip to land in Detroit and see the Lions advance to the divisional round of the playoffs. Austin posted moments from the game, including posing with her partner, Lance Armstrong and showing strong support for the Lions.

Christen Harper’s friend is a model, fitness influencer, entrepreneur and content creator. Katie Austin is the daughter of fitness icon Denise Austin and Jeff Austin. She played Division I lacrosse at USC. Apart from modeling, Austin does on-demand workouts, recipes, and content surrounding her fitness and lifestyle background.
On the personal front, she is married to Lane Armstrong. The couple tied the knot on May 4, 2024, at her family’s estate in La Quinta, California. Their relationship started after they met via a dating app called The League in 2020.
