Only two weeks into the NFL season, it’s pretty clear that there’s a broad separation between the league’s best and worst teams. Here’s a rundown of the best and worst teams in a mini-NFL power ranking.
The Best
1. Philadelphia Eagles (2-0)
Taking down the defending champs for a second straight impressive win gets the Eagles a spot atop our power rankings. If Jalen Hurts and the offense can kick into a higher gear, good luck to any challengers trying to catch Philly.
2. Buffalo Bills (2-0)
Buffalo has been red-hot to open the 2025 season. The Bills’ offense is truly special, with Josh Allen picking up where he left off and James Cook being one of the top backs in the NFL. The defense is a little shakier, but as long as it holds, the Bills will be a strong Super Bowl contender.
3. Green Back Packers (2-0)
The Packers seemed headed for a fairly mediocre campaign… and then, the Micah Parsons trade happened. The Green Bay defense is playing like it has a new lease on life, and the offense, with Jordan Love and Josh Jacobs, has the potential to end up as one of the NFL’s best. Ignore the Pack at your own risk.
4. San Francisco 49ers (2-0)
The 49ers didn’t necessarily look like the smoothest team, even in riding Mac Jones to victory over the Saints. But they’re a solid and balanced team. This isn’t where they’d be on a list of most exciting teams, but they probably are one of the best.
5. Baltimore Ravens (1-1)
Despite a Week 1 loss, who can ignore the Ravens? Lamar Jackson is playing like a man with something to prove, and if they can get Derrick Henry more touches, Baltimore will be just fine.
The Worst

28. Tennessee Titans (0-2)
Cam Ward probably was a quality addition, but without any semblance of a good offensive line and much in the way of receiving talent, it’ll be tough to see massive improvement. The defense is better than the offense, but it will wear down if Tennessee doesn’t score more.
29. Carolina Panthers (0-2)
The Panthers are much like the Titans, but a year further along and no better. Carolina just doesn’t have enough star power to be a competitive team at this point.
30. Miami Dolphins (0-2)
The Dolphins have an awful vibe and are pretty wretched defensively, allowing 33 points per game. Even if Tua Tagovailoa can stay healthy, if the team doesn’t give him more to work with, it won’t really matter.
31. Chicago Bears (0-2)
The Bears looked like a junior college team against the Lions, constantly allowing big plays and points. Chicago is allowing 39.5 points per game so far, so unless the Bears can turn up a shockingly brilliant offense out of nowhere, they won’t go far.
32. Cleveland Browns (0-2)
Joe Flacco looks tired and shaky. The Browns have a punchless offense and, much like the Titans, have enough defense to keep most games competitive, but not enough to pull off grind-it-out 9-7 or 7-6 wins. It’s worth wondering when one of the rookies (or both) will get a genuine shot at QB for Cleveland.
