Justin Herbert has gone viral for reasons unrelated to his play after a pregame clip made the rounds on social media. The LA Chargers quarterback appeared to flip off cameras when he walked in, and the footage has since spread across several major platforms.
The moment came just about an hour before the Chargers kick off against the Las Vegas Raiders, making it one of the biggest talking points of the day. Even though the official source has deleted the clip, it has been reposted by several accounts.
Ari Meirov also shared the video on his profile, giving fans an opportunity to post hilarious reactions.

“Didn’t peg Herbert to be the type to do this… guess Madison Beer has changed him,” a fan wrote.“this is so corny, who does he think he is,” a fan wrote.
“Chad move lowkey lmao,” a fan wrote.
“Lol. That’s hilarious. That’s what I always did in my mom’s Christmas pictures 🤣🤣,” a fan wrote.
“Let’s go send the Raiders home with their tails between their legs,” a fan wrote.
“I used to try to pull stuff like this all the time when I was 12 years old and never got away with it either,” a fan wrote.
One of the reasons the video went viral was that Herbert was trying to sneak in the flip off. While walking in with a bag in one hand, he pointed his middle finger to the ground, giving the perception that he wasn’t trying to be bold about it.
On the field, Herbert has started the 2025 season on a high note. In Week 1, he threw for 318 yards and three touchdowns, as the Chargers beat the Kansas City Chiefs 27-21 in Brazil.
Justin Herbert on How He Got Over the Playoff Loss
In June, Herbert made it clear that he had moved on from the Chargers’ wildcard loss to the Texans, where he threw four interceptions. He said he reviewed the film, as he would after any loss, but stressed that spending extra time dwelling on it would only hurt his teammates.
“If I spend any more time worrying or focusing on a loss like that, I think I’m doing a disservice to my teammates,” Herbert said.
Heading into this season, Herbert emphasized continuity in the offensive scheme. He said the goal is to build on what the team did well last year, while improving in the areas where they fell short.
“I think it’s just continuing to improve on where we need to and taking what we did well last year and continuing to work on that and understand where we fell short, what we need to improve on,” Herbert added.
Herbert was especially happy to have Mike Williams back, calling him a difference-maker who changes how the offense plays. He also highlighted the offensive line, saying their communication and flexibility stand out.
